Block Tree is a calm block puzzle that rewards planning more than speed. You are given a series of shapes and place them on a grid, trying to fill complete horizontal rows or vertical columns. Each time a line is perfectly filled, it bursts away with a satisfying effect, freeing space and adding points to your score.
There is no timer pushing you, but the board fills up quickly if you are careless. Since you can clear both rows and columns, the best moves often complete two lines at once, which gives a nice boost to your points. The game ends when none of the available pieces fits anywhere on the grid.
It is played with a mouse click or a tap, so it works on desktop and mobile alike. The rules are easy to learn, which makes it suitable for any age. Try to keep the centre of the board as open as possible and place large pieces near the edges, because a crowded middle quickly leaves no room for the bigger shapes.
