Bubble Trouble is a classic arcade game with a simple but tense idea. You control a little devil in a trench coat who carries a spike gun that fires straight up. Large bubbles bounce around the screen, and each time you hit one it splits into two smaller ones that move faster. To finish a level, you must pop everything until the screen is empty.
The danger is that any contact with a bubble costs you a life, and the screen quickly becomes crowded with tiny, fast bouncers. Good positioning makes the difference, since standing right under a bubble gives you the best chance to hit it.
The game supports two players on one keyboard. Player one moves with the left and right arrows and shoots with Space, while player two uses A and D to move and Q to fire, and the keys can be changed in the settings. Avoid splitting every large bubble at once. Clear one group down to the smallest size before hitting the next, so the screen never fills with more targets than you can handle.
If it clicks with you, ZAP, Master Chess and Graveyard Wars - Two player are close in spirit.
