There are many kinds of fish to catch, ranging from common species to rare ones that are worth much more. Selling your haul brings in money that you can spend on better fishing rods. Boats and new areas become available, letting you explore different fishing spots and find new species. Upgrading your equipment makes catching valuable fish easier.
