Kitten Never Dies follows a lost kitten trying to get home across a series of strange dimensions. Each dimension works differently, so every new world brings a fresh challenge rather than a harder version of the last one.
The controls are deliberately minimal. A single input is enough, whether you tap a key, click the mouse, touch the screen or press a gamepad button, and the kitten does the rest. The difficulty is in timing that one input correctly for the rules of the current world.
It also has a local co-op mode on one computer: each player picks a different button, and you play together on the same screen.
The art is cute and it suits kids, but some dimensions are trickier than they look.
When you arrive in a new dimension, spend the first attempt just watching what the kitten does when you press. Once the rule clicks, the level gets much easier.
