Mad Day Special mixes driving and gunplay against invaders from space. Aliens have landed, and the only thing standing in their way is you, a car with a gun, and a strong wish to get back your kidnapped pet octopus, Fluffy. The road climbs over hills and crashes through walls, and every alien you meet is a target.
This edition is a lighter browser take on the original game. It starts in seconds, keeps the controls to two buttons and rewards repeated runs with steady progress, whether you play for two minutes or try to beat a high score for an hour.
On desktop you jump with space and shoot with X. On mobile you tap the right side of the screen to shoot and the left side to jump.
It suits players who like over-the-top arcade action and a story that does not take itself seriously.
Jump over obstacles instead of trying to shoot them. Keeping your speed up is often more important than destroying everything in your way.
