Match the cards with same sums

Math Multiply Two is a memory game with arithmetic as the twist. The cards are numbered from 1 to 18, and a second set shows expressions built from multiplication by 2, such as 9 times 2 for 18, or 8 times 2 plus 1 for 17. The challenge is to match each number to its expression, so the odd and even values require extra care. You flip the cards and need to remember where they are while also doing the math in your head. It is played with the mouse in a horizontal layout in a desktop browser. The mix of memory and mental arithmetic makes it a good short exercise for learners. Tip: work out the odd numbers first, because they are the ones with the extra plus one and are easiest to confuse with their even neighbors.
