Paint Sponges Puzzle is a colourful maze game that mixes logic with a little art. You control a sponge soaked in paint, and wherever it travels it leaves a bright trail behind it. To complete a level, every square of the maze has to be painted, with no empty tile left.
The sponge moves with a swipe, and that is where the challenge lies. Once you send it in a direction, you need to think about where it will stop and which tiles it will cover on the way. A wrong order can leave a corner that is impossible to reach without retracing large parts of your route. Later levels add more twists and turns, so planning becomes essential.
The game runs on mobile and computers, with swipes on touch screens and the mouse or keyboard on desktop. It is relaxing yet asks for real concentration. Start by looking at the dead ends of the maze, because the sponge has to enter and leave each of them, which often reveals the route you should follow.
