Flying units can reach to the defense directly and take less while ground units can take more damage so plan accordingly and take them both in battle field.

Pirates Merge: War Path is a strategy adventure in which you combine pirates into a powerful army. Merging two identical units creates a stronger one, and your forces include both ground and flying troops.
There are 50 missions spread across three regions. On each battlefield, your goal is to destroy the enemy defences and loot their coins, which you then use to train more units. Flying units can reach defences directly and take less damage on the way, while ground units can absorb more hits, so mixing both is important.
Train units, merge them and send them into battle using the mouse on a computer or touch on a mobile device, in landscape mode. Plan your army based on the defences you face: send ground troops to soak up damage while flying units attack key targets, since combining their strengths destroys defences much faster than using one type alone.
