Rise of the Dead is a horror shooter set in a city collapsing under a zombie outbreak. Undead attack from every direction, and while fighting to survive, you also follow quests to find out what caused the apocalypse.
Survival depends on your arsenal. You can upgrade your weapons, buy new guns and improve your skills to raise your chances. The game offers different modes, including sniper missions, survival challenges and exploration for resources, so there is variety beyond simply holding off waves.
On a keyboard, move with WASD, open the menu with Tab, shoot with a left click, reload with R and punch with E. Q switches weapons, G and F use your two items and the scroll wheel zooms. On mobile, a virtual joystick moves you and buttons handle actions. Reload whenever there is a quiet moment instead of waiting for an empty magazine, because being caught reloading by a group of zombies is the quickest way to lose.
