Survival Island starts you with nothing on a tropical island. You explore, chop wood and break stone, then use those resources to build shelters, craft tools and upgrade your character. Over time the camp grows into a proper base as you push into new areas of the island.
Resources are limited, so survival depends on what you choose to build first. Better tools gather faster, and character upgrades open new possibilities, which gives the game a satisfying sense of progress.
Controls are kept simple, which makes it a gentle introduction to the survival and crafting genre rather than a hardcore sim. It plays on mobile and desktop.
Spend early resources on tools before structures. A better axe or pickaxe pays for itself quickly by speeding up every later trip for wood and stone.
