Tower Siege is an arcade game in which you build a tower out of the blocks you receive and then defend it. Before each attack you are dealt four pieces, for example wall sections, bowmen, cannons, mortars or tesla coils, and you have only moments to set them down. Next the attackers come: goblins, tusked beasts, flaming hounds, skeleton knights and siege machines whose range beats all of your defenses. A block with nothing beneath it drops, and the debris can flatten whatever sits below. It works with one thumb on a phone or just a mouse on a computer. The tower can collapse under its own weight, so symmetry and a solid base are as important as firepower. Tip: build a wide base to keep your tower stable, and put archers on top where they have the longest view.
