Tsunami Race is a frantic party game in which a huge wave is always right behind you. You pick a character and sprint across courses full of obstacles, trying to stay ahead of the tsunami and outlast the other runners. The tone is goofy and fast, so rounds are short and easy to replay.
Several modes keep things varied. In one you dodge falling fruit, in another you race down water slides, and each mode asks you to adapt your timing to a new kind of danger. The game runs in the browser on different platforms with no download and no account to create.
Controls could not be simpler: tap and hold on the screen to move your character, and let go to stop. That makes it accessible to anyone, though staying alive still takes good reflexes. Do not hold down nonstop on tricky sections; short, controlled bursts give you more time to read the gaps between obstacles, and they help you avoid running straight into a hazard you could have waited out.
