Last Shift: Humans vs Machines is a quick top-down 3D action game about ordinary workers, five of them, who resist as technology slowly takes control. The characters are a programmer with homing code bolts, a soldier with a rapid-fire rifle, a financier whose bouncing coins bring extra gold, a cleaner with a slowing soap spray and a garbage collector who throws heavy piercing trash bags. There are five chapters with ten rooms each, beginning with a smart city full of robots and drones. You move with WASD or the arrow keys, or by dragging anywhere on a touch screen, and when you stand still, your hero attacks automatically. P pauses. It is horizontal. Each hero has a different style, so trying them all shows which one fits how you like to play. Tip: stop moving to shoot, and move between waves.
