About this game

In Hellforge: Demon Protocol you play a side-scrolling 2D run-and-gun campaign of twenty industrial missions with rising difficulty. You face berserkers, mech hounds, gatling brutes, shield troops and patrol soldiers, avoid sixteen kinds of traps and look for secret pickups. Six weapons are available, plus armor plates, grenades and protective shields, and ten animated bosses come back as elite enemies later on. Rewards for careful play include checkpoints, three lives, a dodge move and two weapon slots. On a keyboard, A and D or the arrows move, W, Up or Space jump, the mouse aims, left click or J fires, E picks things up, Q switches weapons, R reloads, Shift dodges, G throws a grenade and F raises a shield. On mobile, touch buttons show up. Tip: dodge instead of trading shots with heavy enemies.
