Echolocation Shooter is a first-person shooter in total darkness. The only way to see is to fire: each shot sends out a soundwave that briefly reveals the level around you, and neon enemies hide in the gaps.
That rule changes how a shooter plays. Firing gives you vision but also costs time and ammunition, so you constantly weigh seeing against surviving. Enemies come in endless waves, and the horror atmosphere keeps the tension high.
You can unlock soundwave rifles, laser cannons and grenades and upgrade your gear as you push deeper.
On desktop you move with the arrows or WASD, jump with Space, dodge with Shift, send soundwaves with the left click and shoot with the right click. Number keys change weapons. It also runs on mobile.
Pulse before entering a new area. A quick scan avoids walking into a group you could not see.
If it clicks with you, Blade & Bedlam, Revoxel 3D - Voxel RPG Shooter and Mr.Tung Shoot Zombie are close in spirit.
