Mafia Wars is a shooting game where you play a cowboy vigilante fighting a corrupt mafia. Levels are full of gangsters and end with different kinds of bosses. The western hero against modern gangsters gives it an offbeat tone that sets it apart from other shooters.

You tap on enemies to mark where your character will shoot, but bullets take a moment to arrive, so you need to anticipate movement. Ammunition is limited, and saving bullets for hard fights is part of the strategy.

You can switch weapons, using automatic guns against swarms of enemies. Support units and defensive barricades can be unlocked, and some fights cannot be won without them.

It plays on mobile and desktop.

Aim slightly ahead of moving enemies. The bullet's travel time means aiming where they are now often misses.
