More balls mean a better result at the finish line, but also a much harder group to steer. The crowd of balls has to fit through gaps and avoid obstacles together, so the difficulty grows with your success.

Stay in the middle of the track when the group is large. It gives the balls on the edges room to pass obstacles without being knocked off.
