**How to Play Alderun**
Alderun is a strategic battle royale game where players compete to be the last team standing. The game features a variety of maps, modes, and heroes, each with unique abilities and roles. At the start of a match, you can choose between a guided practice mode or a new game. Once you select a map and mode, you'll pick your hero, and the game will provide a map briefing that outlines your objective—whether it's defending a castle, capturing an objective, or defeating the enemy team.
The core of the game revolves around objective control and team coordination. Players earn experience and gold by defeating enemies, which can be used to level up your hero, unlock new skills, and purchase equipment to support your allies. The game emphasizes strategic positioning, resource management, and effective use of abilities to outlast your opponents.
On desktop, controls are managed through a combination of mouse and keyboard inputs. Left-clicking selects a hero or unit, and dragging allows you to select a group of units. Right-clicking the battlefield lets you move, attack, or interact with objects. Ability buttons are displayed on-screen, and their keyboard shortcuts are also available. The mouse wheel can be used to zoom in and out, and holding the Space bar follows your hero. Pressing Esc cancels actions, closes windows, or opens the game menu.
For touch players, the interface is more intuitive. Tapping selects units and issues orders, while tapping an ability followed by its target when needed activates it. Dragging the battlefield moves the camera, and pinching zooms in and out. On-screen menus provide access to skills, equipment, and game options.
