About this game

Drop & Merge 2048 takes the number-merging idea of 2048 and turns it into a falling block game. A numbered cube descends over a board of five lanes, and you slide it left or right to choose where it lands. When two cubes with the same number touch, they combine into a higher value, and good placement can set off chains of merges. The aim is to build large numbers and rank higher in the leagues before the stack reaches the top. On a computer, the arrow keys or the A and D keys move the block, the down arrow or S speeds it up, and the space bar drops it at once; you can also click a lane. On mobile, you use touch. The game is shown in landscape. Tip: keep one lane for your largest number and build next to it, so merges flow toward a single side.
