Ridge Racer 2D is a physics-based hill racer about mastering rough terrain. You balance momentum, upgrade custom vehicles and climb treacherous slopes along extreme off-road tracks, trying to crush obstacles and reach the peak without wiping out. Precision with the throttle is the key skill, because too much power can flip the vehicle and too little leaves it stuck. You drive with A and D or the left and right arrows. The game runs in a horizontal layout in a desktop browser. Upgrades let you tackle the steeper tracks as you progress. Tip: lean against the slope by tapping the keys gently in the air, and avoid holding the accelerator on steep climbs where the wheels can lose grip.
